Course Overview:

Performance Based Leadership

For businesses to be successful, their employees at every level must take on the leadership role each and every day committed to the highest level of performance. Each leader’s success starts with self-leadership that begins from within each of us. One of the most powerful tools available to a leader is the mission statement. A personal mission statement can impact the way you look at the world and provide direction towards the personal and professional success you desire. A business mission statement gives leaders the clarity of action they need on the job.

Bottom-line leaders are responsible for getting results. The ability to solve problems and create synergy with their team as well as with any organization they interface with facilitates successful completion of each project. Effective leaders communicate their ideas with conviction and power. They speak with clarity and know how to listen to what others are saying. They are not afraid of conflict and work toward resolution for the best interest of the organization and the people involved. Performance Based Leadership provides the fundamental building blocks to facilitate the change from follower to a leader who has confidence and conviction and who gets results.

A critical aspect of this course is the active involvement of executives and management team members through providing support before and after the class by creating a forum for each business case to be presented, reviewed and dispositioned. For maximum impact business case presentations developed during the class are presented to key management team members 3 to 4 weeks after the conclusion of the program.
